"A harmonious fusion of softscape and hardscape"
At the Globus site office the entrance is designed as an experience rather than an approach. A dramatic arrival court opens into a circular plaza that branches into two routes — one engaging the landscaped garden, the other traversing the water — so movement unfolds across the site instead of along a single line. Four paving systems work as one integrated ground plane, and the surface underfoot tells you which route you are on.
The arrival is anchored by Quadra in Redwood and Raven, establishing the geometry before a visitor has taken a step. The circular court then transitions into CorbuCobble in Twilight Grey with Brandy Oak accent bands, holding the circle while introducing warmth and texture. Rather than directing people along one route, the landscape invites exploration — the plaza branches, and the paving marks the choice.
The primary circulation spine is defined in Quadra in Dark Charcoal with a contrasting Dark Brown border. Smaller garden connectors branch into PianoPebble in Twilight Grey, whose organic character softens the transition into planting. Grass pavers absorb the parking into the surrounding lawn, so vehicle standing never interrupts the green.
Each surface was selected for the role it plays, not for how it looks in isolation. Read together, the systems make movement through the landscape both more functional and more engaging — the point at which the ground itself becomes a Surface of Emotion.
