At The House of Local Café, the outdoor courtyard acts as a social stage for conversation, dining, and community gatherings. The paving surface was designed to reinforce the warm architectural language of the café while providing the durability required for a hospitality environment.

Brikweave pavers in Smoked Scarlet form the defining surface across the courtyard. The herringbone layout introduces direction and structural stability while complementing the café’s terracotta-toned architecture. The textured concrete surface responds dynamically to changing light conditions, shifting in tone throughout the day and adding a subtle atmospheric quality to the outdoor dining experience.
